Volunteering at Roots in Reverie

Looking to get your hands dirty? Want to commune with nature? Aching to learn what goes into organic veggie and flower production? You’ve come to the right place!

As a small scale market garden, our community volunteers are critical to our operations, and welcome at any skill level. Anticipate getting dirty, using your muscles, and being subject to the elements for on farm projects. This is where we usually need the most help. While some projects can be physically demanding, we always have secondary lighter projects available for those who want to be involved less physically. We also welcome volunteer help at farmers markets and during the weekly flower harvests with Miranda.

While we try, we can’t predict the weather (and therefore our labor needs) more than a week out. We update our schedule weekly via the newsletter and the blog. If you intend on coming to the farm, please reach out and let us know! It is helpful to know how many hands will be available to better prepare for the projects. We also want to be able to keep and eye out for you, many parts of the farm are out of eyesight and may be difficult to navigate on your own.

  • The address is 82 Snell Rd, Lee, NH 03861. There will be a long gravel driveway marked with a couple road signs displaying our name. Follow it all the way down and proceed right around the house following signs for visitors. You can park in the fenced in area near the tunnel.

IMPORTANT: Please drive very slowly, no more than 5 MPH. There are children and many pets including a deaf dog who is not wary of vehicles. Proceed cautiously and look for residents to gather their animals. Thank you!
